The Old Bushmills Barn dates back to 1745 and is a short 4 minute walk from the centre of Bushmills. After studying Hospitality & Tourism in Edinburgh, Owner Jasper moved back to his hometown Bushmills and wrote a business plan with Causeway Enterprise Agency for Five Star Self Catering. After receiving funding and along with a few local craftsmen The Old Bushmills Barn was lovingly restored during the first lockdown. Since the restoration The Old Bushmills Barn has won HC Accommodation of the year 2021 and Self Catering Accommodation of the year 2022. The Old Bushmills Barn has everything you would expect in luxury self catering as well as Tennis court, balcony with views of the Giants Causeway headland, outdoor cooking facilities, large garden and a large open plan area with 6 meter high ceilings. After seeing how many visitors loved staying somewhere characterful and historical the unique opportunity arose for the restoration team to do it all over again. This time in the form of an old 1937 Art Deco home located right beside the River Bann and Mountsandel Forest. The Old Mount Manor is large property sleeping up to 10 guests. Similarly to the barn it has everything you’d expect in five star self catering as well as a large landscaped garden, river views, private forest entrance, a secret room and is a walk to pubs & restaurants. Both ‘the old’ self catering accommodations love to collaborate with local businesses to provide guests to the area with an extraordinary experience.
