In 2012 Broighter Gold joined a new and exciting tourism trail known as ÉCONOMUSÉE, which was founded in Québec in Canada, offering a unique visitor experience, inviting tourists to watch artisans at work, learn about the history of their craft and the heritage of the traditional skills. Farm tours include a farm walk where you’ll be guided through the process of harvesting the rapeseed oil, a tour around the pressing room and bottling plant and a visit to the gift shop where you can purchase your own bottle of rapeseed oil to take home with you. April/ May is always the best time of year to see the oilseed rape in bloom and if it’s August/September, you might see Richard in the combine harvesting some of the crops.
