Lacada Brewery
Lacada Brewery in Portrush began when a father and son started brewing together in 2015. They not only wanted to establish a brewery but wanted one that was ‘owned’ by the community on the North Coast.

Lacada Brewery is named after Lacada Point, a low slung rocky outcrop close to the world famous iconic Giant’s Causeway on the north coast of Ireland which is linked to the wrecking of the Girona.
Lacada Brewery has established itself as one of Northern Ireland’s leading breweries and has won several awards for its beer including winning silver at Blas na h’Eireann Irish Food Awards in 2022 for both Blue Pool and Utopian Stout. Blue Pool is named after the popular local deep sea diving pool made famous in the early 1900's for public diving displays and exhibitions during the summer holiday season in Portrush and has a smooth, soft body and full mouth feel. The Utopian Stout is a full bodied, medium dry stout with a silky smooth mouth feel and has a warm roasted malt aroma with dark chocolate and coffee notes.
In January 2023 Lacada Brewery brewed their 100th beer called Ciento (Spanish for 100). Brewed with a range of Heritage malts and hopped with Centennial, El Dorado, Talus, Citra and Mosaic, you can expect a strong mix of citrus, tropical fruit, and also piney resin.
