Founder, Simon has always been a fan of gin and the complexity of the botanicals intrigued him. He has been studying the craft of gin distillation for the last few years with the ultimate goal of producing a quality gin with his own flavour profile, a spirit that everyone can enjoy, a spirit that represents the north coast, the people here now and those born by the shore. And lockdown was the catalyst that finally allowed Simon the time to turn his hobby into something he can share with everyone.
On the scenic northern shores of County Antrim, Northern Ireland, between the Giant’s Causeway and the ruins of Dunluce Castle, lies the village of Portballintrae. A village steeped in heritage and tradition where the waves of the Atlantic break and the River Bush meets the ocean. Shore Born Gin is born on these shores and carefully distilled and bottled in small batches for your enjoyment.
