At Moyletra Moileds, the love story began in 2020 with a single cow named 'Honey.' Intrigued by her unique qualities, the family soon found themselves falling head over heels for the Irish Moiled breed. Their affection only grew stronger as they learned more about these distinctive animals, which are now sadly at risk of extinction. They decided to turn their passion into purpose, embarking on a mission to save the breed and share its exceptional beef with the world.

Today, Moyletra Moileds proudly boasts the largest herd of Irish Moiled cattle in Northern Ireland. This native ancient breed are raised slowly, grazing freely among the dune systems of Castlerock, Benone, and Magilligan, as well as the salt marsh at the Roe Estuary.  Irish Moileds are natural foragers and perfect for helping conservation and biodiversity, feasting on a natural diet that contributes to their remarkable flavor.
